Today’s feminine energy that I will talk about is the wonderfully wild Goddess Artemis. Artemis is the Greek Goddess of the Hunt. She is a virgin Goddess, twin sister of Apollo and the daughter of Zeus and the Titaness Leto. Her only loves are the forest, animals, hunters, and hunting. She is a strong-willed Goddess and only asks respect for the natural world from Her followers.
The Nymphs that follow in Her train are tasked with eternal virginity along with Her. That is a hard task when Pan and His Satyr brethren are around. Artemis does not accept disrespect and is quick to anger when dishonour is shown. Artemis shows us that we do not have to surrender to stereotypes. We can be strong and loving all in one. You can be big and tall and still love to pick flowers. Be true to yourself and respect the natural world.
